Haiti Goat Project

The Haiti Goat Project has been special to St. Andrew’s parish since 2006. As our main focus of Lenten almsgiving, each month more than 5000 US dollars are pumped into the local economy to directly support local goat producers and vegetable growers in the Gressier, Haiti community as they provide the components needed to make chili for school children. Look for the table in the parish office during Lent. Click here to learn more.

Reconciliation

The Lenten season is a time of preparation to celebrate the Resurrection of Christ our Savior at Easter.

The practices of praying, fasting, and giving alms call us to a conversion of heart so that we might become more faithful disciples of Jesus. Part of this conversion of heart is recognizing our sinfulness and asking for God’s forgiveness.

The sacrament of Reconciliation is celebrated at St. Andrew on Saturdays at 3:30.
There will be no Reconciliation on Holy Saturday, March 30.

The Lenten Reconciliation Service will be Thursday, February 22 at 7:00 p.m. at St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church.
