History
WWCM was started in 1983 by one of St. Andrew’s founding parishioners, Antoinette Clark. She worked with people from other local churches to open a food pantry in the Apex area. St. Andrew’s parishioners have supported WWCM with food, financial support and volunteers since its beginning. St. Andrew’s is one of the largest supporters of WWCM to this day. WWCM is an ecumenical organization supported by many local churches, businesses, civic organizations and individuals.
