* Also, your phone mail box must be set up so if you do not answer, the volunteer can leave a message.
If the volunteer feels that SVDP can potentially assist you, a home visit is scheduled.
A “home visit” is unique to our ministry. It consists of two SVdP members meeting with you in person. St. Vincent de Paul and St. Andrew Catholic Church
To further enhance the ability of our parish community to assist people in need we have established a St. Vincent de Paul Conference at St. Andrew Parish.
Founded in 1833, the Society of St. Vincent de Paul is a worldwide organization of lay Catholics following Christ’s call to serve people in need.
There are over 4,400 parish based conferences in the United States. The Society’s Mission is “Called by Baptism and inspired by Gospel values the members of the Society seek to grow Spiritually by serving the needy and suffering, in a spirit of Justice and Charity.”
Many have found their call to be involved in a St. Vincent de Paul Conference to be rewarding both spiritually and personally.
